The McClary family moved to the Arva area in the early 1900's. The dairy farm was established by 

Lou McClary and carried on by his son Jack (John F). Jack & Evelyn and their sons Dave and Pete incorporated the farm under the name Arva Heights Ltd. in 1974. In 1997, Pete and Lynn McClary founded Arva Grain Corp. as an agribusiness with grain elevators in Arva & Seaforth, crop input sales, feed sales and a trucking division specializing in hauling grain and feed. Brian and Jessica McClary are now active in the management of the business.
